About the artist

Born in West Yorkshire and a Fine Arts graduate from Leeds University, Steph now creates her art in her cosy Harrogate studio in North Yorkshire.

​Inspired by nature and the emotional tapestry of life, Steph loves to explore a deeper world beyond our everyday senses. Her art reflects her belief in a higher force and our interconnectedness.

​Steph says, "I see us as eternal spiritual beings on a brief human journey. Where does creativity come from? I start a painting without a set plan, letting the colours guide me, and often, the artwork seems to emerge from the unknown."

    I have a piece on my wall she created for me over a decade ago and it still makes me smile most days.

    She's such a versatile artist and her collections are all so different from each other.

    Her latest collection is magical... dreamy... beautiful... and to me speaks of life beyond this realm.

    Its why I suggested 'Beyond the Veil' as a name for one of those pieces... a print of which I just bought... it will soon grace my wall.
